Love is love.

Whether you're a man & a women. Two men or two women. No one should have the right to say that just because you're the same sex you can't express your love for one another to the world like a straight couple.

Love has absolutely nothing to do with it, actually. I don't care about your feelings for one another, it's just equality. There really shouldn't be a question about this. Homosexuals should be able to marry. The only real arguments against it are people who think it's gross, which is totally ludicrous, since I think it'd be just as gross to see a man and a woman going at it in public as it would be to see 2 men or 2 women, or religious people.....and religion shouldn't be a part of determining laws unless you live in a theocracy. :/

But equality doesn't exist really.

No, true equality can never exist, but there are ways in which the government can promote equality, such as by passing laws for all citizens rather than some.

Allowing only heterosexuals to get married isn't promoting equality.
